Using Mumilk's Breastmilk Collection Shells

Before using the milk collection shells, you need to assemble them as follows:

Place the soft, flexible silicone membrane and snap it into place all the way around. You should place the milk collection shell in the bra with its opening over the nipple. Ensure the handy spout faces upward.

It's a good idea to wear a nursing bra when you use milk collection shells. Compared to a typical bra, these are usually a bit roomier, reducing pressure on the breasts.

Cleaning Mumilk Breast Milk Collection Shells

It's important to keep breastfeeding accessories clean, including breast milk collection shells. Immediately before you use them, and every day after that, sanitise the breast shells as follows:

Hand wash it with warm soapy water and rinse it thoroughly.

Pour distilled water over the parts in the small pan and let it boil for five minutes.

Dry the parts with a clean cloth after draining off the water.

Cleaning milk collection shells is also essential after each use. The parts should be separated and washed with a mild cleaning solution. Then rinse it thoroughly in cold water and dry it with a clean cloth.

It is easy to clean, empty, wash, and sterilise between feeds, like a silicone dummy or baby bottle.
